I was hired by a property management company to re-clean a house that Purple Cactus had done. Their quality of clean is very poor; in every room they missed baseboards, edging, inside of drawers, left kitchen appliances still dirty, and food and hair on surfaces. I feel bad for the tenant that hired them.
Was told about them threw a relitive that used them for a moving clean. They did the whole house upstairs and downstairs. 4 bedsroom 3 bath with a big recroom. Charged about $350. I figured thats not to bad so I got a quote from them to do just my upstairs. 2 bath 3 bedsroom. 1500 sqft. I already had people clean the kitchen and livingroom and two bedrooms. THE WORST PROFESSIONALISM I EXPERIENCED IN A LONG TIME!!! Scheduled a "move in" cleaning at $35/hour, told price high because they use much more materials & more thorough than standard weekly cleaning. Arrived late with limited allotted time to clean and 3 girls gabbed the entire time! Their standard of "clean" for a maid service was ridiculous. I called. One person met me at my place (between renters). Gave an estimate on the spot once they understood what I wanted. They came in a bit high on the bid. I negotiated a lower price while dropping some of the services requested (e.g., cleaning the walls and one of the bedrooms). They came the next day (afternoon, instead of morning, as we had discussed). Their cleaning was exactly what I requested. I did the walls and the extra bedroom myself.
