I went back and forth on whether to pay for packing or do it myself to save money. Glad I paid. They showed up with all the materials — boxes, wardrobe boxes, packing paper, bubble wrap, tape — and packed the entire two-bedroom in a single afternoon. It would've taken me a week and it would've been worse. Everything was labeled by room and nothing broke on the way to Kansas City. The packing crew clearly does this all day, every day. Money well spent.

Moving out of a high-rise condo means dealing with the freight elevator, the reservation window, the loading dock, all of it. The crew knew the drill. They'd clearly done building moves before — booked the elevator time, laid floor protection in the lobby, and worked efficiently within the window we had. It ran a bit long because another resident had the elevator tied up for a stretch, but that wasn't on them and they stayed calm about it. Furniture arrived in Atlanta in good shape. Reasonable for the distance.

Full four-bedroom house. What I cared about most was not getting hit with a surprise final price, because I've heard the horror stories. The estimator was thorough — walked every room, counted the big furniture, asked about the attic and garage. The quote he gave held. Crew was professional, disassembled the beds and the big sectional, wrapped everything, and reassembled at the new place. Final price matched the estimate almost to the dollar. Honest operation.
