My parents ordered a German chocolate cake from Pure Grain bakery for my birthday. We were all so disappointed when we cut into this cake and found three very thin layers of chocolate cake with very thick layers of whipping cream in between them. The top of the cake did have something similar to a traditional German chocolate cake topping, but it was not very good. When has whipping cream ever been part of a German chocolate cake? As a German I LOVE it, awesome cakes, bread, rolls, owners and the perfect ambience with outdoor seating!
I love the desserts and pastries!
