I've always had gym/workout class anxiety, and Pure Barre is the first place I've found that doesn't feel like that. The instructors at PBIP are so welcoming and personable and genuinely take the time to get to know their clients/students. Not only is the workout itself a fantastic, low impact session that tackles my full body with minimal equipment, but I feel like I learn how to exercise and stretch completely new muscle groups. Joined the free class. Received a text message to arrive 10 minutes early. I wasn't informed that it would be a hard "no" for a class if you don't arrive at 6:30 p.m on the dot. Don't bother showing up if you're running even a minute late. If I could put a zero star rating I would because it's unprofessional to not inform the clients of this rule. Please include this in your text message to future clients!
Unfortunately, I’ve had a very disappointing experience with this studio regarding the cancellation of my membership. According to the contract, members must provide a 30-day notice to cancel. However, there is no clear option or guidance in the app on how to do that, it’s not user-friendly at all. I reached out to the manager and instructor (Happy) as soon as I realized this, even though it was less than 30 days before my next billing date.
