I had a very disappointing first experience at Pure Barre Bellevue. Before booking, I checked the dress guidance online, and it did not clearly state that yoga shorts were not allowed. The wording made it sound like clients should wear whatever they feel comfortable in, such as pants or similar workout attire. I showed up in yoga shorts, and everything seemed fine until the front desk staff told me I could not take the class because I was not wearing long pants. I would not recommend this studio to anyone. This review is long overdue. I used to attend Pure Barre several years ago. After experiencing a couple of falls in the past, I developed ongoing lower back pain. Because of this, I occasionally need to make slight modifications during core exercises to avoid aggravating my injury. After one class, as I was walking out of the studio, another member aggressively confronted me and began yelling that everyone should follow exactly what the instructor says without modification.
