Apartment is at a very prime location and has its pros and cons. Not much of a walking space but close proximity to all the neighboring markets
Living here has not been a pleasant experience: Had a number of false fire alarm that happens through out the day, Very dirty exterior of building and rooftop, seen a number of critters, spiders and bugs flying outside of the establishment near the broken call box, Package is left outside of the room door which makes me feel like it could be taken at anytime by anyone with no security cameras monitoring the hallway. Had all my deposit taken from me through bogus and expensive cleaning fees even when i cleaned and left the ap... read more
I am updating my review after living here a little longer. The TLDR is I personally would not recommend living here. There are some pro's: - rent seems to be a little cheaper than other places (definitely wouldn't live here if they ever change that <---) - the views from the north facing windows are lovely - the top floor apartments have really high ceilings *** ...BUT the con's are too significant for me to want to stay here. Brian in maintenance is fantastic, professional, and prompt, extra star for him. Rest of the apartment is falling apart. Callbox has been down for months. The main lobby alarm has been making sound 24/7 for months. We had 3 false fire alarms in August alone, all between 10pm and 6am. The rooftop grills and fires have not worked since I moved in, and the roof is covered in a disgusting amount of bird poop. If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to live in a sitcom where everything that can go wrong, does, this place is your stage. It started the night I arrived at 10 PM, armed with a suitcase and a parking permit for a spot that didn’t actually exist for me. After a few frantic calls, I secured a new spot… only for my fobs not to work. Nothing says “welcome home” like being locked out and sneaking in through a dimly lit stairwell.
