The store had a great way of showing off different cultures with a wide variety of items. Great to know that the store has many ways of reaching out to the community. Not too many business are making waves in this aspect.
RecommendedPura Vida was one of the first stores I went to when moving to Charlotte. Upon walking in the door, I felt the immediate sense of love that emanates. Not only are there eclectic items (sourced from around the globe and supporting those in need), the owner is an activist and voice for people of color and women.

This place is run by sexual assault apologists and are actively silencing victims of sexual assault that are tied to this place.
This is one of the few shops in Noda owned and led by a woman color. The owner does phenomenal work at representing the eclectic and vibrant colors of the world. Most of the items are fair trade and help thrive economy to other nations... I would strongly recommend this shop to travelers and natives of Charlotte.
