Just had a fantastic sandwich at Pura Vida-Miami at South Costa Plaza – The New Yorker with a generous amount of smoked salmon plus pickled red onion, dill cream cheese and more served on toasted sourdough. I ordered it with soft boiled eggs. It was absolutely delicious.
If I could give negative stars for the service I would. The line takes forever to get through. They have two registers but have never had two people taking orders. They take a customers order then walk away for a few minutes.
Food was great but the service was what really made the experience a 5/5. Liam gave the best service! Very attentive and friendly, give the kid a dang raise!
I thought this was a cuban/Latino owned establishment. Its not. Google the owner and you will know :) To be honest, for the price, the food was meh. You can find the same poke bowl at any other spot without the price tag and hype. Also, they dont have much seating. So you have to hover and wait for a table. This was on a weekday, so I cant imagine during the weekend. I had the spicy tuna bowl and my friend had the steak bowl.
Disgusting and disappointed. I ordered the new yorker, and the smoked salmon was sooo bad, the salmon wasn’t fresh and tasted kind of acidic, when I addressed to the staff, they didn’t even bother to help they just said “Oh sorry” at night my stomach was so painful and bad I threw up all night. BE WARE OF THIS PLACE YOULL GET ANISAKIASIS !!!! (FOOD POISONING)
