I am a young woman, and I was left stranded with no hotel room at night! Even after having it CONFIRMED over the phone. Person I spoke to on the phone was ridiculously hostile when I explained the situation and then hung up on me! They said I could not speak to a manager.
We stayed at Punthill Essendon from 24th to 29th September while I was competing in a bodybuilding show, traveling all the way from Brisbane, Queensland. We chose this hotel because of its location close to my competition venue, but unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. Firstly, we booked parking at $20 per day, but when we arrived, the hotel parking was already full. Great location. Near trams, parks and a supermarket as well as restaurants. The room is well laid out, and being at the back was quiet. But the fit out was lacking. Not enough cutlery and crockery, and the main room TV is small and likely from around 2011 (wide bezel, small). The TV in the bedroom was 32cm, I had to wear glasses to be able to see it.
