I was able to visit the Memorial Site at the former Pulse and it was very emotional for me to step foot there again a year later i was given a 2nd chance to live.That night change my life for ever. May the 49 Angels called to heaven R.I.P.

When I first moved to central Florida from Miami Pulse was one of the first gay clubs I had ever stepped foot into in my whole life, it was such an amazing experience. All the love that surrounded the place and everyone was always so happy and so welcoming all the time. I had a hard time coming back to see everything. As a local I avoided it for a year. What struck me is, as a community we are still here. We are not defeated. It is important to remember how these people lived. The vibrancy and life. That's what we need to hold on to. It's keeps me going.
