The calm and love that you feel as you walk the wall and remember the 49 was lovely. There were over 1000 bikes and yet you could hear the quiet sobs as we spent a moment to remember
I've never been a quiet person and I'm never at a loss for words. Just ask anyone who knows me. Be that good or bad, it's me. Only moving to St. Cloud a little more than 2 years before the trajedy took place, I was mesmerized by this and found myself glued to the news coverage for days. I felt a deep sadness within my heart with each new development reported and the images of the survivors along with the stories from family, loved ones, friends, and of course the whole LGBT community. I never visit the club until yesterday to pay my respect but I'm sure it was a great place from the reviews. It was sure a heartbreaking experience but I'm thankful that I did visit. So sad for the victims and their, families and loved ones �.

Pulse was a safety place for everyone, it was the best gay club for me in central Fl, now I'm happy it will b a memorial! The one year anniversary was beautiful�� I just hope they make another club like pulse so we all have a place to be ourselves again and dance under the stars ���
The first time I went to visit was a day after the one year anniversary. It was such a heavy feeling of loss and love. My eyes could not help but swell with tears for the lives across the country that have been affected in some way from the tragedy that happened. Yet, through darkness comes light, and I was proud to stand there with many others basking in the love that we had for the fallen and for those who came from all across the world to sign those banners on the fence surround that beautiful place.
