On my day off, I usually spend it running errands and today is no different. This morning I got on my Publix app and ordered my husband's meat and cheese. Drove the 25 minutes to get it and ended up waiting at the spot where you pick up the app orders. I found out their app wasn't working so a manager came over and apologized and asked me to order everything again. I just want to share... I ordered my son a hamburger cake .. my husband went to pick it up and only peaked at it..when he got home I looked at it and my sons name was wrong on cake also as I got into parking lot someone pulled in front of me so I swerved and the cake slid...so I went back to our store and the staff was really really nice and helpful.. Everyone has been above and beyond so friendly! We ordered a birthday cake today for my daughter and both of the girls working in the bakery were so nice and helpful! Also the young cashier and bag boy that were working on register 1 were so polite and personable- even to the lady in front of us that was extremely rude to the both of them. It was nice to see the younger aged workers still be so nice and keep their smiles on their faces. We LOVE Publix and are so happy you are here!
I have been there twice since they opened and the samplings are really wonderful. However, the staff in the bakery have been very incompetent. I bought a brownie tower and they crushed it into a too small box. I went to get another one and i had to insist they put it into a larger box so that it was still a tower when I got it home. The staff seemed put out that I wanted a larger box.
I really like the deli department. Very fresh cold cuts for sandwiches. I would just think you would sell fresh sandwich rolls to make those sandwiches. Not prepackaged day old rolls. There was. It even any of those today. You should be able to buy individual fresh rolls. Just a suggestion.
Just visited Publix for the very first time ever and I cannot wait till I need groceries again! Best customer service hands down! Produce was so fresh! Deli department and Bakery department all with smiles and so helpful!! You guys are definitely doing it right!!
Just left publix for the first time. Nathan, who is in New Bern for the week, could not have been more helpful. Walked me to the item I had asked about and gave me a little history of Publix. He was very knowledgeable and very pleasant. Will certainly be back. Lois Pressly kinston
