I have missed publix. Best filet mignon around this area in ANY grocery store. More so, it's a complete treat for me as well as ice cream for my DOG! This publix is my absolute favorite! I didn't catch her name, but a bakery employee who handed out samples of cake on memorial day absolutely made my day! I'm 6 months pregnant & had an emotional/hormonal morning preparing to hang out with friends by the pool all day (starting to feel huge!) She couldn't have known my struggles that morning, but absolutely showered me with the sweetest compliments. Overall nice store and the customer service is great.....IF you're a customer. But the same great service isnt given towards the vendors. The shipping receiver is VERY rude as well as a member of management in the meat department. I was removed from the store for wearing a hood on my head during a 40 degree morning because according to Publix that is their policy (although I've seen several other vendors of a different race being allowed to wear hats and hoods) which I feel disrespected and discriminated by.
Service is ok, lots of employees don't know where anything is. I asked a young girl where the marshmallows were and she said she didn't know but she was looking for them too! Just got a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant and there was barely any chicken salad on it! So disappointed! The one in Ballentine is out of my way, but I think I will go to that one or back to the Bilo in Chapin!
