Really nice clean store with very friendly employees. Especially in the bakery. Publix has many selections to choose from. You'll find everything you need here.
Luv Publix... I have tried several of their cakes: carrot cake, chocolate fudge, cheesecake, & even the key lime pie. They are all delicious.
Chapin Girl Scout Troop 760 went to the Publix in Chapin this evening to work on a couple badges. The employees were super nice, especially Colin (checkout) and Sarah (bakery), who took time to answer some questions and talk to our girls. Thank you for allowing us to invade your store and teach the girls more about wants, needs, and money management.
Very disappointing yesterday as I called at 11am to order chicken from the deli to be picked up at 3pm. Got there and was told there was no order placed, I must have called the wrong store. Also told they had new people & they didn't know what they were doing. Infuriating because i knew I called the correct location & I never received a call from another store saying my order was not picked up. Unhappy with my cake situation...ordered a cake and when i went to pick it up couldn't find it.
I just have to say how much I ♡ the Chapin Publix! Struck up a conversation with John at the checkout about cantelope, honeydew and watermelon. We talked about why southerners put salt on their watermelon and he told me about when he was young, going to Florida and filling the trunk with watermelons to bring back to family because they were only 50 cents a piece.
