It's Worth Trying. Last night I went here with my parents before the Alabama concert next door at the Fox. Overall I enjoyed the feel of the restaurant. The interior has a rustic pub house feel to it with adequate dining seats. Also the drinks are very strong, as even my mother's raspberry martini gave this grown man a kick. For an appetizer we selected the roasted red pepper hummus, which was delicious and had a spicier flavor than one would expect. While my mom did not care much for her salad, my dad thoroughly enjoyed his... read more
Dinner before the Fox. Ate at the Pub before going to see The Producers and found the food really poor. I ordered their hamburger and it came overcooked, hard and dry and virtually tasteless, the bun was stale, the fries that came with it smelled like fried fish but the iced tea was great. I ordered coffee after dinner and it was luke-warm and ordinary. So $20 later I left with a feeling of "never again for this place, " The service was good and lots of pretty people who all looked like they were in a hurry to go somewhere.
Stay away from the Mule!. We ate there before a show at the Fox. The appetizers were better than bar food and the entrees were good. My only complaint was about the speciality drink the Moscow Mule. I have had several of these all over the country and I must say that the taste was way off, even bad, and the copper mug is full of shaved ice( great huh) but then after 4 sips, it was gone. Awesome place!!!. The food and employees could not be any better, I highly recommend this place to everyone that visits Atlanta...
Excellent. Best bar tender I've ever had. I wish more of them took as much pride in their service.
Fanatastic service. Falafel the time best
Cool, laid-back atmosphere. Good service but skip the lamb burger. Felt like I should have been eating a gyro. Stayin nearby. Will b back tomorrow
Craving fish and chips now!. Some of the best "Fish and Chips" that I can ever remember. They were pretty busy so the service was a little slow but the fish is worth it. It is so tender and the chips were pretty good as well. They have a decent selection of beers.
Back again. A very nice 2 block walk from Emory Midtown Hospital and now probably one of my favorites in the area. Dropped in for lunch and had another one of the great jail break stouts on draft, along with an in-house ground spicy lamb burger. Asked for it medium and it was certainly very close. Very nice taste, seasoned with cumin and "toasted spices". Fries were extra crispy and service was pleasant and efficient. All in all, a very nice option for a casual lunch. -----05 Jan, 2011----- Great quick dinner at the bar. ... read more
