Extremely professional and kind staff. Helpful bunch that seemed to legitimately care and have passion for the help they provide to struggling individuals
Gross negligence on the psychiatric team’s part. I checked a close friend into the ER, explicitly told two members of the staff: initial intake RN, then admitting mental health clinician, of his current suicidal ideation, in addition to manic behaviors, and begged them not to discharge him. I stated he did not have a safe place to return home, nor the ability to receive adequate psychiatric and medical care to manage current symptoms in Alaska.
