My husband has been seeing Dr. Parrott for over a year. He normally has to wait for over 45 min. past the appointment time to be called into office. Last appointment was for 9am, he waited 30 min. and Dr. Parrott hadn't even arrived to his office yet so he left at 9:30am. Later that day the receptionist called and left a message to reschedule saying Dr. Parrott had a emergency and cancelled all his morning appointments. Dr. Parrot is eccentric, and he has long waiting times. I usually have to wait 2 or more hours to see him. That being said, he is a genius. I was a wreck when I first saw him. He talked to me for 3 hours in our session. He got to the root of the problem and gave me medicine that fixed me up in a day or two. He is the best psychiatrist I have ever been to. I cannot recommend him enough.
Dr. Parrot is an amazing doctor.
The reviews regarding the wait time ARE accurate, but I've had similar experiences with several other doctors. None of the previous doctors I have seen even come close to Dr. Parrot. Within 2 hours of talking he presented me with information regarding my diagnosis that I had suspected for almost my whole life, but other doctors disregarded. He's brilliant, intuitive, and maybe a bit eccentric. If you want someone willing to stay late, put in the time, and most of all actually make a difference, than Dr. Parrot is your man.
Friendly and very courteous staff that staff makes you feel comfortable. They work hard to help those with unexpected schedule changes. The LOCATION is in a ideal spot! Plenty of parking never have to drive around some crowded medical center parking lot looking for a place to park and run into 5 people you know, and that’s just in the parking! If they are behind schedule they won’t try and keep you waiting not knowing when your going to be next. The Dr is running late so they call you and tell you or let you know in advance.... read more
