My son receives gtube supplies through aveanna including formula because he has does not eat by mouth. Aveanna failed to call me to tell me my son’s formula was on backorder. When I called them to get an update because he was running dangerously low they admitted someone was suppose to call me last week about the problem and told me I would have formula by Saturday. Today is Thursday and we still have no formula. Plus I cannot get a supervisor to call me back!! They are unreliable and have poor management skills!
Wouldn’t recommend this agency to anyone. Something is wrong with our medical supply order almost monthly. We never received our November shipment until December because of “insurance”. Then the lady proceeded to tell me well the holidays and people are off, etc. I had to step in quickly to say so my Gtube dependent child wasn’t supposed to eat over the holidays? Always a problem with this agency.
The staff at Aveanna have been so incredibly helpful in navigating my new feeding tube. Their customer service is amazing and every single person I have spoken to on the phone quickly helped me solve my problems and truly seemed to care about me getting the care and supplies I needed. I highly recommend this company if you are looking for fast, compassionate care.
This company is the absolute worst from a medical supply (special needs food delivery) standpoint. There is nothing good to say about them from any standpoint, and their customer service is the worst. We have run out of food monthly for our daughter and it's really "not their problem". The overall staff is the worst from a customer service standpoint and we will be leaving them as our supply vendor. I highly urge anyone looking for a reputable support partner to look elsewhere. Don't go with this company. They're lucky we aren't suing them for medical neglect after they let my dad starve for an entire week. They kept blaming the problem on the hospital, probably because they knew admitting fault would be even worse on them if we took them to court. They brought expired food and told us that was all they had and they couldn't even give us THAT because it was expired. My poor dad was so weak by the time he finally got food, he went from zero mobility issues to wheel chair bound entirely. I'm so angry... read more
