A light and airy dining room overlooks an open kitchen at Prune, where good American food is served in a charming ambiance. Oysters, gravlax, and deviled eggs are good starters. Popular entrees include braised rabbit legs with carrots and fennel, braised beef short ribs with Yorkshire pudding and grilled rib eye steak with parsley-shallot butter. For dessert, the warm chocolate cake is delicious; try the oranges with vanilla beans, and the unexpected and fantastic butter and sugar sandwiches.

What a fabulous meal I had at Prune on Monday night...the best grilled quail I've ever had! Can't wait to return...but, in the meantime, I'm preparing recipes from her cookbook! Love her style!
Return visit after couple years - did not disappoint. Had grilled brazini with fennel - fresh, flavorful with crispy skin. Service and atmosphere also superb
Just the kind of restaurant I want to have some day. Small restaurant, great food , unpretentious, great service.
AMAZING. The service, the food, and the atmosphere were phenomenal. The sweetbreads and pigeon were magnificent.
Good atmosphere and ok food. The menu selection is a bit limited.
