Dr. Pruchnic is the best! He listens well, speaks clearly and gives you all of the time that you need. He performed surgery on my index finger, and it went well. His office staff were kind and easy to tall with. His only failing - he only does hands!!! I would go to him for everything if I could. Thanks to Dr. Pruchnic, his staff and the folks at Eastern Maine Medical Center!
One of the best around. I hope Northern Light can manage to retain the best doctors - Maine cannot afford to loose these excellent Medical professionals. Had him for years and respect and grateful for his excellent care and bedside manner.
Very thorough and pleasant. Advised the pros and cons is surgery and I opted not to have surgery on my hand.
I have great respect for Dr. Pruchnic. He saved my left pinky finger, after I sheared the bone in half, and had to have emergency surgery. And, he thoroughly informed me of what too expect during my recovery, and the long-term function of my digit. And, he was spot on, when I saw him again, after tearing the tissue around a couple of my knuckles, on my right hand. He told me that it would take about a year for it to get better........ and that was exactly the timeframe. I highly recommend his expertise.
I broke my thumb on a Tuesday and he got me in to surgery the same week on a Thursday. He did a great job. He has a good sense of humor and great bed side manor.
