I found a hidden gem in medical care. What an awesome group of medical professionals. I went in as a new patient recently for some routine workup/testing. They were very thorough and extremely nice. They took time to get to know me, my history, and discuss any concerns I may have had; I did not feel rushed or unimportant. Top-notch, and I would highly recommend.

My partner was hospitalized twice in the last week and was told to make an appointment with this office to be seen within the next two weeks. When we called to make an appointment, they wouldn't give us one until March. The woman on the phone couldn't have cared less. She told us that the hospital needs to stop telling patients to call them for appointments. The staff is incredibly unprofessional and completely lacking in empathy or basic patient care.
After a few years of being with a different place & doctor & health issues being ignored; I found the residences at Providence. Dr. Dang is my main PCP now. However I have also seen his colleges; Dr. Smith. Everyone there including the over seeing doctors, & the staff are so amazing. I had so many symptoms that had been ignored by my previous pcp (not at providence) that I was becoming very overwhelmed & frustrated of being sick for so long. My visit with student provider Kahlon was dismissive and careless. I asked for specific testing for reasons, the provider didn’t ask why and instead told me getting the tests I wanted weren’t necessary. I also requested a pap-smear and received the most painful one of my life and ended up bleeding for almost a week. I’ve never had a pap even a fraction as unpleasant and painful as that.
