we went here recently and although the service itself was ok, the prices were not. hidden fees. we had to get our cat examined for peeing everywhere so I called around and spoke with reception at this place and was quoted prices for the exam and for urinalysis. there was a $90 extraction fee we weren't told about at all, and they decided to give all vaccinations without our permission which we would have had done cheaper elsewhere so we ended up spending almost $300 to find out our cat in was perfectly healthy. we've been hu... read more
The vet staff skills are really variable. One of the vets I was highly impressed with, the others that I've seen - not so much. They don't seem to get to the bottom of things. I've brought my dog in for a chronic issue three times and three times got different answers. But the real issue is they are too busy to properly attend to their clients. Cassie Clemens is wonderful. She’s kind, compassionate, informative, realistic and gives you the time you need to process information, ask questions, and answer them patiently. I’ve never had such a great vet and highly recommend her.
The staff here have always been fantastic with me , my two cats and dog. Have always gone above and beyond anything I’ve needed them to do! The service is first class ,everyone always takes the time to listen and answer any questions that I have. Recently I took my two new cat and the vet took great care of them. I love this clinic.
Terrible customer service. They don’t go the extra mile for patients or animals. I was running late due to traffic— I called the office to be courteous and said I was almost there. They said 10min was the cut off time for late appointments. I hurried and got there in 8min and they refused to see my dog. All we needed was updates on his shots. He wasn’t sick or hurt. I will be finding a new vet.
ABOVE and BEYOND always. Providence has treated my canine companions very well for all my time in Alameda (over 10 years). I recently left the area and I hope I can find a local vet at least half as good. I now live in Modesto and on our third day here Jack escaped from my Patio. A neighboring dog person saw him and took him to into her home while trying to find me (Dentist). She got Providence number from Jacks rabies tag and called. I did not even know he had gotten out when Providence called me with the info on Jack.
