Refused to examine me because of outdated COVID protocols. Thank God they're closing, I had to drive to the ER when my throat started closing. Deborah E Okonofua was incredibly unprofessional, and irresponsible. Hopefully someone will see this before she practices medicine again
Don’t go here if you don’t have to. Also don’t call their 7992 number listed, nobody seems to pick up. Call 7994 instead (mentioned in people’s bad review responses). I had an appointment and showed up early for paperwork just in case. Was there for over 2 hours for a prescription. It’s taken over a day and multiple calls and the pharmacy still hasn’t received anything from Providence urgent care. Currently they are saying they can’t send the prescription over since the doctor that wrote it isn’t in… I just need my prescript... read more
***BEWARE***BEWARE**** Had to go here to get a note for work. I provided my insurance. They instead did SELF PAY. They would then proceed to send me bill after bill. Each time I would call the corporate line and follow their steps to provide my insurance. Don’t bother calling the office as they rudely hung up on me after saying they don’t handle billing. They then had the AUDACITY to send to collections after reducing my bill to $100 even though I should pay only a $20 co pay. ALL THIS WHILE I CONTINUALLY KEPT TRYING TO PROV... read more
The absolute worse urgent care center ever! There is nothing urgent about them. They let my family member sit in a room for 3 hours with no follow up. No doctor came to speak with her. No medication or referral. Nothing! Unacceptable! Is this how black women are treated at Providence? In a predominantly black community? The worst and should be shut down. The last review mentions that they suggested going to the ER. What's the point of an urgent care if they aren't going to see patients. They better not bill her insurance.
Very efficient and provides necessary information regarding medical difficulty/illness, and or getting shots, etc. very convenient.
Providence Urgent Care Center has a 3.2 star rating with 120 reviews.
Providence Urgent Care Center is closed now. It will open tomorrow at 8:00 a.m.
