As I sit here on this 4th of July, I remember last 4th of July when she was on cool aerosol. I remember my family and I thinking our mom was on her way to being weaned off the ventilator and would be coming home. That never happened. In fact, we ended up taking her out of SACC a few months later. My mom passed away in January of this year (2026). I will never forgive SACC for not trying the herbal remedy we asked for multiple times. I don't know if these remedies would have worked, but I would have done anything to try. Afte... read more
