I was at St. Joseph's yesterday for a thyroid biopsy, in the South side building near the emergency room. What was a very stressful event was made so comforting and nice by the wonderful employees! My pre-op nurses were excellent. I had three different nurses caring for me, and they all had such compassion and made me feel so relaxed. Then the staff during the actual procedure (Rn's, Pathology tech and Ultrasound tech) were the best. Can't say enough about the professionalism, caring & support of the entire staff at St. Joe's. We came in for a small procedure and ended up having open heart surgery but everyone from the CVOR staff to the floor nurses, housekeepers, food service staff & administrative staff have been so caring and compassionate I couldn't think of having this done anywhere else. Thank you to my St. Joseph's family. You are the best!
I've always had a positive experience at St. Joseph's Hospital. Doctors and nurses are caring and answer questions. Most of all they have taken excellent care of my mom through her breast cancer and all of her blood pressure/heart issues.
