They charged my insurance $6k for an ER visit that resulted in 1 potassium pill. My insurance denied half of it. I’m stuck paying $3k for basically nothing. If that’s not criminal, I don’t know what is.

RecommendedWent into the ER at Hollywood Presbyterian on a Saturday with abdominal pains. The staff there was kind, helpful and professional and got right down to diagnostics and diagnosis. I needed an appendectomy - my time in the hospital was great - the nurses were very good at their jobs and helped guide me through the process - surgeon was skilled and took the time to answer all my questions.
