The nurses are great! The scheduling department and Dr. Ajitha Kommalapati, MD have been a nightmare. The lack of communication has only added to the stress of going through a cancer diagnosis. Medication adjustments get done "verbally", but notations aren't made in the chart, you'll receive chemo without having seen her or anyone else for over a month, prescriptions get called into the wrong pharmacy, and the last straw was her cancelling a video appointment while I was waiting for her. Megan Bannister is an absolute asset to Providence Regional ! Words can't convey how wonderful and kind Megan is. Empathy and concern are evident, and you immediately feel like, "This is where I need to be." I wish only the very best for this beautiful human !

My healthcare provider gave me a referral to this facility. I called to schedule and was informed the Dept was only accepting Optum Health patient referrals. I do not see how this policy aligns with your mission statement and values of community health for all. Looks like a healthcare silo to me where the emphasis is not improving access to care for our community at all. The day he was able to feed himself they moved him again. Didn't monitor him. He was a high risk fall the whole time. Had a heart issue.... and my mom gets a call at 230am 2/10/25. We went in at 330 and he's on life support. Nurse tells me they went in to change him and found him on the floor without no pulse.... WHY WASNT HE BEING MONITORED. You guys killed him and I won't be le... read more

As a cancer center, the medical oncology team should be sensitive to the amount of anxiety patients go through waiting for results that can be severely life-altering. We see these results in MyChart and live with much fear waiting to know what those results mean for us. I had to wait 10+ days before anyone would discuss my lab results with me in December....which was just a message saying a PET scan was ordered. Had the PET Scan done.....it shows the cancer has recurred.. no one calls about results. I finally speak to a "tri... read more
