My dad went in the ER. 3 days later moved to 10th floor. Went down hill the dr said because of the movement of floors. Then went to ICU to be safe. The day he was able to feed himself they moved him again. Didn't monitor him. He was a high risk fall the whole time. Had a heart issue.... and my mom gets a call at 230am 2/10/25. As a cancer center, the medical oncology team should be sensitive to the amount of anxiety patients go through waiting for results that can be severely life-altering. We see these results in MyChart and live with much fear waiting to know what those results mean for us. I had to wait 10+ days before anyone would discuss my lab results with me in December....which was just a message saying a PET scan was ordered. Don't go here, they only care about charging the insurance company and if you talk to the manager or supervisor, they don't do anything to help people, no matter what type of cancer you have, they will make you suffer, they only care about money.
Thank you to the care representative I spoke to today 12/27/24 and Tiffany who helped us after we were unable to get help in the ER the previous night. My partner and I really appreciate your caring and understanding. We both feel you went above and beyond. Thank you.
I have been a patient here for years. It has only been over the last year or 2 that I have been having major issues with my appointments. I am Disabled and have no transportation on my own anymore. I need to be scheduled for morning appointments. The scheduling team has refused to schedule me for anything other than evening appointments as well as splitting every single thing across multiple days.
