This is Paul Yaffe , I’m currently a patient at Las Colinas Post Acute. The rehab department has been really great and Saul Gomez has been outstanding with my rehabilitation. I highly recommend him.
My mom was admitted to las colinas in March after being released from the hospital. I just wanted to thank all the staff and ca's that helped her they were all wonderful and really cared about her.The therapy department was great,thank you Saul and Cassandra for working with her,you made her feel safe so she could start walking again. When my grandma got there she was awake and alert and each week she was there she got worse. Patients are 3 to a room and don’t get looked in on enough. I get they might not be staffed enough but if that’s the case don’t take so many patients . And the nurses are rude and act like it’s a waste of their time to help and they just stay at the nurses station just talking loudly and getting upset when they get called. Definitely the worst place for both patients and employees!! The staff that cares for the elderly are the worst!! They can go through the bathroom and they change them until they are almost bleeding!! And the employees complain about how bad all the administrators of this so-called hospital for the elderly are.
