I've been here for both my pregnancies with GDM now and everyone is very kind and helpful.
I recently went for a Technology class and learned a lot. I learned things I did not know about my Diabetes and the technology that will help me manage it. I was able to find parking and the staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable. Thank you!
I have been disappointed by my experience with the diabetes education program. I am allowed 11 visits the first year but no more. I was never told this number and was given only 6 visits. I would have come for more as I need help with allowed foods and menu planning. The education center did have support groups but lost them because they do not cater to other needs of type 2 diabetes folks. For example, most type 2 diabetes folks are older and don't drive at night. Their classes were at 7:00pm rather than a daytime hour. The... read more
