The doctors here were fine, other than what they charge, Dr. Bazan. I was here for neurology after being referred. I live over an hour away, so I started doing appointments virtually after the first visit. All of these virtual appointments ended up being 15 minutes or less, often going over a lot of the same things. The price was still ridiculous in my opinion, but it was manageable. I originally saw Dr. Toub, who was wonderful, listened to my concerns, and felt I had found my neurologist. Then she left this practice and I was scheduled to see Dr. Evans. I received a call that the FNP, Mona Meng could see me sooner. I took the appointment. I should have kept the later appointment with Dr. Evans. Maybe there was a communication problem between Mona Meng and I, but I did not get my concerns about my epilepsy and migraines addressed. I wanted to give special thanks to Dr. Yost and her nights of the round table. They took very special care of me and I had a very good experience here.
Dr Evans is AMAZING. I have been w/ him for 8 years. I wish he didn’t work for Providence, not only bc they stopped billing Pacific Source Medicaid, and also bc the support staff have not been helpful with my sudden transition from Prov to some other neurologist. Fortunately I have medical social work experience and was able to do all the case management needed (which is difficult w/ increased seizure activity, loss of job, and recent suspension of driver’s license).
