Providence Mutual was recommended to us because we were moving in from out of state and I would highly recommend them in turn. We had a water damage loss on our property the week before Christmas. Matt was thorough in his assessments and communicative throughout the process. It was an absolute pleasure to work with him despite the circumstances. Claim(s) were approved and funds were disbursed promptly and accurately.

PM quoted me on a dwelling//business policy of $3000 per annum, significantly less than my renewal with another company, so I went with them. Then after that quote they required a home inspection which jacked up my premium by 68% and which also required tens of thousand of dollars of repairs. Such a weasel move by PM, suckered me into a low quote only to stick it to me with a home inspection and jacked up my rate after I paid part of the premium. Providence Mutual is an excellent insurance company. They are responsive to agents and customers. Debbie Farmanian in customer service has been assisting our agency for many years and does a great job. Brian Noble is a terrific marketing rep who helps his agents be successful with Providence Mutual. It is a pleasure to work with Providence Mutual.
Do not give money to Providence Mutual and think you are insured; you are not. I suffered wind damage in a storm recognized as a disaster and made a claim. The adjuster brought by a "wind expert" (no credentials presented) who stated "nope, not wind", and they denied the claim. Additionally the adjuster saw some grass growing from my lawn over the edges of the driveway and told me to fix it and send pictures in 30 days or they would raise my rates for lack of home maintenance.
