I had a bad experience at another Providence clinic, and thought the issues were specific to them, but having moved to this clinic, I can unfortunately confirm that this is an overall problem with the entire Providence system. Poor or no communication about medical care, little to no follow up on that care and referrals, zero help with prescriptions, lots of promises about help with no actual follow through. Very rude faculty. Care is less than acceptable.
Warning to new patients with high-deductible insurance plans who are visiting this clinic for wellness/yearly physical checkups. The first visit will be coded as a new patient/office visit, which means insurance will not fully cover it. In my case, I have to pay $230. The clinic also told me that I could be charged even more if the doctor noted something other than my seasonal allergies. I do not understand the complicated coding system of our healthcare.
