My quality of life is most important to me and the relationship with my doctor as a medical professional is also very personal and important. I find this care with my doctor and staff, extremely pleased.
This review concerns the medical billing aspect of this Primary Care Group. Now, occurring multiple times in short period. However, it will likely be enough of a problem to seek care elsewhere where the medical billing is both consistent and competent as that doesn’t appear to be something Providence is capable of. Getting a quote for a reasonable copay prior to a service and then getting bills for thousands of dollars afterwards is ridiculous. I was forced to change to Providence because my medical insurance cancelled their contract with my dr’a medical group. I have not had a very good experience. I could not get an initial visit for more than 4 months. A call with the doctor to get a $5 Rx renewal was billed over $300 and it took months for them to apply the correct copay. The Dr I was assigned to left a few months after my in person visit. After being with the same Dr for over 30 years, it’s been a harsh switch.
My phone appointment was canceled because I wasn't worth it to the provider. They made me speak to the secretary who deemed no to be worth the doctor's time. I spend countless of hours fixing mistakes doctor office staff , insurance messing up things as well. I can't get another appointment anytime soon so I'm stuck going to the emergency room because the doctor decided my issues are not worth her time. I have chronic pain amongst other things.
