Just got in for my consult and I feel Dr. Loya listened to my concerns and helped develop a good plan to best assess my individual needs. Desk staff is friendly medical assistants are thorough and the doctors know their stuff. I see Dr Borello for pain management and he is just the best. The referral wait is a bit long but we live in an area where highly trained specialists are few.

On referral for 6 weeks and left multiple messages in this time asking what my status was. Asked in person one day and was told they would get back to me in 4 weeks. Received no response and was told I just needed pain management, however I had not been told what for as they were the only ones who could look at my MRI. Opted for a UCSF appointment out of desperation and learned I had a bulging disc and degenerative disc disease. Checked back on the status of this referral and it had been cancelled a month prior. Ten weeks to hear that appointments are six months out! Any other office would have told me first thing that appointments were six months out. That amounted to a lot of extra suffering and further, likely permanent, physical degeneration and subsequent handicapping and crippling of one of the nicest and helpful people I have ever heard of. Shame!
