Allergy shots are fine when you can get them, but their scheduling is ridiculous! Constantly canceling and rescheduling patient appointments because someone is sick or they're "shorthanded" for some other reason.
I have received excellent care for my allergies, and only wish I started receiving care from them sooner. I have never had any of my appointments canceled or changed. Staff are always friendly and they try to always accommodate my needs at each visit. When I call there is sometimes a bit of a wait, but I experience that at any medical clinic I have had to call in Humboldt County.
I just moved to Eureka California from the Central Valley. I need to get an allergist and so I called Eureka allergy group part of Providence medical system. Everybody was so nice trying to get my records from my allergist down in central Valley to Eureka. everybody’s so kind and competent. I just wish my Records get here soon so I can make an appointment to go in and see The doctor. I will do another review after I see the doctor. Dr. Pirzad and the staff are wonderful, caring people. Phone calls are always returned and I am listened to. Have helped me tremendously.
This is one of the worst run medical facilities I've ever experienced. And that includes rural India. They are constantly canceling appointments and changing appointments. It makes it almost impossible to have consistent treatment. Also impossible is trying to reach them on the phone, I have been sitting on hold for 28 minutes as I write this.
