After visiting the emergency room with medical history of hypertension and internal hemorrhoids. I went in in complete pain and Doctor Danielle Ward in the emergency department wouldn’t hear me out and im still in pain to this day. It’s disheartening to go to a place like this for help and has always helped in the past and have a doctor like this who made it evident she wanted me in and out. If I could give zero stars I would. I came here with breathing problems(found out it was a blood clot) the security guard Ben was mocking me saying"are you done yet, you seem to breathing just fine" I had the right to ask how long it was going to be, because waiting at an ER for two hours with breathing problems isnt going to work. They wanted my ID. I've never been to a hospital that wants to take away time, that could be life or death, to make sure I am,who I say I am, you wait until they are stable. After severely breaking my foot, I was forced to wait in the ER for an astonishing 7 hours before receiving any care. Despite being in excruciating pain, I sat in the waiting room with no indication of when I would be seen. The lack of urgency and empathy from the staff was shocking, especially given the severity of my injury. Waiting that long for treatment is unacceptable and shows a complete disregard for patient well-being. I hope the hospital takes steps to improve their response times and patient care in the future.
