My family member arrived here by ambulance at 3:30pm. I arrived at 3:25pm. It is now 10:01 pm!! Everyone that has arrived by ambulance has been put in a wheelchair and left in the lobby. There has NOT been an ambulance in the last 2 hours. There IS NO POSSIBLE WAY ANYONE HAS TO WAIT 7 HOURS TO SEE A DOCTOR!! AVOID THIS ER!!
I sit here and write this review in the waiting room. I checked in at 9:05am and it’s now 2:40 pm. Other than triage and x-rays, absolutely nothing. Had my blood pressure taken twice since initial check in. I have watched nurses take their sweet time with family’s of other patients. But no sense of urgency in this hospital, will not be waiting much longer. Do better.
The waits are long and the receptionists are horrible. I understand working in a hospital but this is ridiculous. The lady sitting next to me has been here for over three hours, the man next to her has been here longer. They are elderly. We are here for a head injury, they took my husband for a CT and now we are waiting. After watching four people just leave becausethey were tired of waiting, I keep thinking I should have taken him to Mississippi. But we are already here. Next time we will be going somewhere else.
If you are in need of prenatal care, do not go here. The nurse's in prenatal are incompetent, and rude.
Why is this emergency room Understaffed as just now admitted by one of its workers. This does Not look good for South considering they took over running Providence to improve it, not make it worse! When a young 20 something woman is there for possible appendicitis and has to wait four hours and still they sent her back out after a few tests without results yet to sit in the waiting room in pain?
