Terrible experience working with them
I read the other reviews of Providence Hospice, and can't believe that they are talking about the same organization we dealt with. From the day my husband was released from the hospital and into hospice at our home, we felt completely informed at every stage of his decline. I was given prescriptions for his pain and nausea at the hospital before he left, and more were delivered to our home at 9:00 the next night. My Dad was sent home on hospice on a Friday night, as Swedish Hospital seemed to be in a hurry to get rid of him at that point! We didn't see anyone from Hospice until later Saturday morning, and he was a "consultant " of sorts that we had a hard time understanding, due to his lack of english.. he was very nice but in a case like this we felt a bit frustrated as we were under the impression we would be seeing a nurse!
