The Ridge at Grandview is a great choice if you are looking to place your parents into an Assisted Living or Memory Care. It was recently remodeled and is situated perfectly on the 280 corridor. Susan and her team will do a great job caring for your loved one.
If I could give a review just based on cleanliness and friendliness the rating would be 5 star. However this is assisted living and the residents are elderly and fragile. All of the residents complain about how freezing cold it is in the dining room. They have to put on coats just to be able to enter to eat the COLD FOOD that they are served at every meal. This community has gone downhill under the new leadership. The executive director is dismissive, and shows little regard for residents and especially their families. Transparency and trust have completely disappeared. If you’re considering this place for a loved one, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. The well-being of residents should come first, and it clearly does not here. SO thankful we found a much better facility
When this was Proveer it was great. The front line caregivers are still great, but their hands are now shackled by heartless leaders. Sadly the management firm, Distinctive Living, is run from the top down by people who are hateful and don't care about my mother's well-being at all. I wish I could rate ZERO stars.
If I could have given this place less than one star I would have. Sure this facility is beautiful (when memory care isn't covered in cheap dollar tree crap) but that's about all it has going anymore. It used to be so well run with staff who you could tell cared about everything and everyone. Sadly months ago that all changed. Almost all the directors and replaced. The new executive director is cold and not to be trusted. And no one seems to care anymore, especially management. Too many other options in town to deal with all ... read more
