Protection1 on its own was great. We were so unsatisfied with ADT that we switched to Protection1 and were very happy. Then ADT bought Protection1 and all has gone to hell. I am so disappointed with them now. I’ve spoken to them a minimum of five times, the exact conversation and every time they say it’s resolved then somebody calls me later and round and round we go. LIARS! CALL ANYONE BUT PROTECTION ONE. Had to get my dad's house protected while it was being listed for sale. We only called them because my dad had already used them previously and still had the equipment there. We live out of state and explained to them that because we were selling the house, we would not be signing any contracts. When they installed the system my husband asked if it was a 1 year contract, they said yes. Then without showing the contract had him sign it. A few months later (after having them come out for the 3rd time to try to get their system to actually work) we found out it was actually a 5 year contract and they forged my signature on the contract I'd never signed or seen.

Don't do it. Save yourself hours of wasted energy and don't ever use this service.
