I am a local business person and Protection one customer. Today I had my fifth call with customer service to dispute a repair bill from a couple months ago. For the fifth time I was told that the local Branch Manager would call me. I suspect that like the first four promises, this one will go unfulfilled. SCAM! Horrible experience. Called ADT and Protection 1 showed up. Very disconcerting that a security company would have someone from another company knocking on my door. The technician also could not clearly explain why they were there and not ADT. When I needed to move they tried to restart my contract term. I am currently paying $750 to cancel this contract early and am using Scout instead. Over the 3 year period this will actually be cheaper than continuing to use Protection 1. Signed contract fully intending to carry it out but I got cancer and need to sell our house and relocate. Would have used them in 6 months when we can buy a home but to get out of our contract they expect over $700 ! Unreasonable and greedy Do Not use this company !!!

Wow, Remote Access — how did we ever do without this technology? I have been with Protection 1 for over 7 years and just found out that they had a product available that would make my life style easy do to our demanding work and travel schedules. Web & Mobile Control allowed us to have contractors, our house keeper, and even family members enter our home without ever giving a key or alarm code to anyone.
