Absolute trash of a company. Only reason landlords use them is because they don’t have to deal with renters insurance compliance with tenants. POPIC aka Confirm Insurance doesn’t tell you it’s gonna take your money and just includes their fee in your rent bill hoping you don’t notice. Once you do you email them and they tell you you’re missing this or that, when you complied with what the website said you need. I feel they're trying to take advantage of people by charging them a liability fee even with proof of own insurance. I still have not received a call back and honestly feel like I am being scammed.

You may know this company by the name Confirm Insurance. I have had both a credit union and an apartment complex require me to deal with Confirm Insurance now. In both cases, Confirm Insurance notified the company I was dealing with that I did not have the required insurance in spite of the fact that I did and had provided that documentation as required. I will never deal with another company that requires me to deal with Confirm Insurance and unless you want a similar experience, I would advise you not to do so either.

I have lived in the same apartment complex for the last 2 years. My first year, I provided my renters insurance but was still charged. Once I noticed that I had been charged, I contact Popic. They informed me that they would not be refunding me because it had been 90 days since the first time they had billed my account. Now in my second year, again, they claimed I did not provide my insurance information. I sent them the confirmation number and the email I received.
