Deceptive marketing strategies. Found an apartment on Zillow listed for $1350. Contacted the company for a tour. They wanted my name, credit score, and budget. Then afterwards they told me the actual price is $1600/ month. They said the rate shown is the “net effective rent” since they are offering the next several weeks free. I’m not sure who searches for apartments based on a “net effective rent” rate that’s based on move in date you may or may not need.
