I damaged my garage door (it needs to be open before you back your car out) so I couldn't drive out or even raise the door. I called a few places and no one could come out but Proper Garage had a technician who came and stayed after hours and temporarily fixed the door until a new door could be ordered and installed. I was very satisfied with their customer service and workmanship and highly recommend them.
After reading several positive reviews, I decided to give Proper a call when our garage door would not completely close. I am so glad I did. Their service technician, Doug, was out to us the same day. He quickly identified the issue and made the repair for an incredibly reasonable price. I would recommend them for service and will likely be considering them as we look to potentially replace our garage door in the future.
Doug came out to do my free quote and he was so thorough, I requested him for the install. My new opener works very well and, better yet, Doug adjusted the door and whole system to run smoothly and very quietly. The difference is shocking - I should have done this sooner! Thank you for that extra step! It’s a nice bonus. Good local company with very knowledgeable service people. Polite office staff.
It was 8 o'clock at night and I went out to get the garbage cans when the spring on the garage door snapped. I called the original installer of the door and of course got an answering machine.
