Very very poor customer service. I was told someone was coming out on Saturday afternoon, but no call and no show. I had everything moved out of my garage. Jayla, said she didn’t put me on the schedule. The owner Chris was short and rude with me, when I called him about my experience. They charge you $100.00 if you don’t have your space cleared at the time of service but they don’t give you anything for a no show no call. I will grade them a F. They are the worse!

Courtney in the office was on the ball. She returned my call quickly and was able to get a technician out within a few hours. She had no problem telling me a price over the phone (which their pricing is very reasonable). Doug arrived promptly and was very professional, honest, and fast.

February 2026 Update: From 5 stars to Frustration — how Proper Garage Doors didn’t live up to its reputation this time. Our garage door button stopped working EXACTLY one year after installation. Our original button(when we moved in our house)lasted over 10 years — this replacement barely lasted one year. Scheduling was a headache with multiple missed or shifted appointment windows.
