My friends parked in the lot near the bond hotel last sunday .They put in the code for the hotel but still got towed . Qr codes are not that user friendly -people are not used to paying for lots and find it confusing -do they get a receipt ? Does it say ? Having unmanned lots is hard to navigate . $200 per car so now they do not want to come to hartford . We need you to be a good neighbor so people want to come to downtown . Parked at the lot across from Union Station while waiting for my college son to arrive on the train. Big signs at the entrance of the lot advertising $2 parking. Screen on the machine to get tickets shows $2 for up to an hour. Parked for 30 minutes. Charged $5. Not the first time this has happened.

Update: guys you can apparently park in reserved spots for free and they won’t tow you :). You don’t even need to have the monthly parked sticker to get in! The worst parking garage on the planet. Charge ridiculous fees to permits holder while allowing unlimited random visitors to use the garage. Why can’t your valuable company use those money to build an algorithm to stop taking visitors when the capacity reaches a limit? I don’t see the money being used in maintenance of the garage as well.
