Worst customer service. I had to pay $200 to expedite a delivery I placed 10 days prior. They couldn’t give me an estimated delivery time either. Their prices were much higher than other places.
Sitting in the cold as Amerigas says that deliveries are delayed. Last one was a week overdue as well.
We went to exchange 2 propane tanks at a Walmart. They have a self serve machine. We got one no problem. Paid for the second one and the "new" tank was empty. Tried again. Another empty tank. We paid for 3 refills at this point and left with 1. My husband and I both tried calling their "24/7 customer service line" and have waited on hold for 30 minutes and an hour and never spoke to a person. There is no other way to resolve this. No email, no other phone numbers.
They're a terrible company. They do not meet their SLAs. Their customer service reps cannot answer a single question. They just say, "i can't access that information." It doesn't matter what you ask. Their prices do not reflect horrible service. They cannot be called a propane company; they never actually deliver propane. Now they aren't even answering the phones. There is no way to cancel my service and that's obviously by design. This company is nothing more than a scam.
Customer service is non-existent. There is no way to talk with someone unless you wait on hold for over an hour, and even then they always have to transfer you to someone else with another hour wait time. No response to multiple emails. These guys are buying up smaller companies that provided decent service, and leave those former customers in a situation where they have zero options but to deal with the terrible service or pay extra to move to a different company. Absolutely the worst experience you could imagine.
Corporate AmeriGas has totally abandoned serving customers and employees. Used to be a good company.
They keep bringing me refills i dont order and im being billed for it. Now we suspect a leak and have made 3 phone calls (over hour long) and still a week of no propane. My family with a 2 year old in our home in mid winter and we have no heat, no hot water, and no stove. In regards to their overseas call center, i cannot understand them and they are USELESS. Praying we someone actually shows tomorrow to check our tank and fill us back up. Cant wait, we are getting on natural gas lines early next year
They don't deliver your propane on time. They charge too much especially for the service you get. I called the number and the automated system said my delivery would be on the 3rd it is now the 6th and no propane.
Worst company ever I still haven’t received my gas which was put in as an emergency cuz I ran out before they delivered 3 days now no gas and it’s in the teens at night Don’t go through these people I also spent 2 days on the phone trying to speak to a supervisor which I still have not talked to one!!!!!!
