Dr. Ahlstrom should not be a pediatrician My daughter saw doctor Ahlstrom from age 6 months to 15 years old. She had been suffering with pains in her abdomen for many years. Dr. kept saying she had sour stomach. I insisted for finding out more. She had H Pylori. Subsquently all stomach aches were because of her H Pylori. At 15 she had mono, could not recover got sicker and sicker. I changed pediatrician. Finally we went to Mayo Clinic, my child had POTS, and autonomic dysfunction. Why, no one knew. Detailed oriented, caring, great doctor We have been coming to see Promise Ahlstrom for about 9 years now. She helped work through concerns about vaccination and now is helping us weather all of the issues, hormones and communications that come with a pre-teen. She has been very good in talking about body changes with my daughter and always takes the time to talk to her about what's going on. Her office does not take our insurance and yet we use her anyway because she is that good.
Dr. Ahlstrom is wonderful. She is attentive, caring and very easy to talk to. I highly recommend her.
Great kids doctor... Doctor Promise Ahlstrom is a very patient and caring pediatrician. The doctor's office is always filled and general appointments have to be scheduled several weeks in advance, but they always make room for emergencies. My kids don't mind going to the kid doctor because Doctor Promise puts them all at ease. Afterwards, they all get a sticker.
