This is the most disgusting vile place i’ve ever had the displeasure to step into. I got a staph infection and lice. The showers are not cleaned nor is the facility. I was given Adderall at night, and none of the nurses thought to point it out to me or question it. There were violent people just walking around freely. 99% of the nurses are beyond mean and don’t know how to do their jobs. It took me three days of asking everyone there to get saline solution. I respond well to her laid-back yet encouraging style of therapy, and I appreciate how she leaves enough space to let me voice my thoughts to the extent I need. Very polite and attentive staff. They know the exact balance of help / space needed as patients get checked out and adjust to their medication changes, if needed.
Seeing Deb Remley for my mental health was one of the worst experiences of my entire life.
The best psych ward I've been to, out of three. As I said before, I'm reluctant to judge because the situation leading me here naturally leaves a bad taste in your mouth about it. I've been inpatient here three times, and I love the staff. Lori's support is a big reason I even graduated high school. I never clicked with Dr. O, but he's good at his job, I will admit.
