I bought a dipstick tube extractor for a Ford 4.6L. I paid $80 for this so I had high hopes and just wanted to get out the old dipstick tube. Would not even fit into the hole or thread. It stripped out almost immediately. Went to the hardware store and got a long lag bolt for $2 and it worked in seconds. Might as well spray paint a lag bolt black and sell that instead. Had this issue and no word back from this company.
Very happy with the tool and customer service. I got the Ford 6.7 EGR/Injector combo kit and it did exactly what it says it does. Drilled both broken bolts without any issues. Customer service is amazing, I ordered tool late on a Thursday night with 1 day shipping, called the following day to check shipment and spoke to customer service. The tools we have purchased and used are great. The people from the top to the bottom are great to work with and I recommend the tools to everyone
I use many of the tools and jigs to fix problem jobs with broken bolts. Also great and fast working removal tools. The company has excellent customer service . Need a tool fast they will have it to the next day and are always a phone call away for help with a tool or other problems. Excellent company and tools . I own the kit for 6.7L ford manifold bolts. Tool does what they say it will. It does NOT do it as quickly and easily as they say it will though. Be aware when buying, the drill bits wear at a very fast rate. Expect to replace the 2 smaller sizes after every use and likely consume the smallest size. Certify proper insert before use. My kit was older and didn’t have the right threaded insert and would not lock in place no matter what. Tool works just not like they say it will.
