Dr. Robon is an excellent doctor. He explained my options very clearly and we took a conservative approach at first for my wrist. When it became apparent that surgery was needed, he walked me through the alternatives and answered all my questions. I was very confident in him, and surgery was smooth with minimal discomfort. Dr. Roben is very thorough and takes the time to listen to all of my concerns while exploring options for care. He also candidly discusses pain vs cosmetic concerns to ensure I am exploring all treatment options before moving to surgery etc. Likewise, his PAs are skilled at following similar guidance recommending holistic care and herbs/supplements to relieve pain and inflammation. Dr. Robon is an exceptional doctor and skilled surgeon. Outstanding bedside manner coupled with a laser focus on your problem. Excellent at explaining your condition and what you are up against. Explains the work he will be doing very well. Surgery included reshaping the end of the bones in my elbow joint while removing numerous bone spurs & “unattached bodies”. When I broke my right pinky and went to urgent care, they told me that it didn't look bad and I just need to rest it. But this particular break from the get-go felt bad, and I went to see Dr. Robon just in case few days after the accident. Boy am I glad I went to his office, because immediately I was told that a surgery was needed, and without it I'd be losing significant range of motion. We allow employees to bring their dogs to the office and my co-worker's corgi clipped my heel and tripped me. I injured my scaphoid bone in my left wrist (fracture or bone bruise). After urgent care thought there was a fracture, I went to see Dr. Robon. He examined the xray and told me he didn't think it was a fracture, but he told me it was clearly injured. He took the time to explain the bone structure and prepared me by telling me up front it is the slowest healing bone, since it doesn't have great blood flow. Since the t... read more
